Rickyisms
"I mean, nobody wants to admit they ate nine cans of ravioli, but I did. I'm ashamed of myself. The first can doesn't count, then you get to the second and third, fourth and fifth I think I burnt with the blowtorch, and then I just kept eatin." This is one of the many famous quotes by the third and possibly the most iconic of the three main protagonists in Trailer Park Boys, Ricky. Ricky is often heard saying things such as that. Because of this fact Ricky is considered by far the dumbest. And while it's true he is not nearly as intelligent as Julian or Bubbles when it comes to most things there are certain things that he is more knowledgeable about. A few of those things are, growing dope, talking to cops and having good intentions. Although Ricky has spent almost every winter of his adult life in jail he has always had good intentions. Ricky's main concern is always his family. In every season he talks about how he is going to make enough money and retire from jail to be with his family.

Bubbles- From Parts Unknown
As I've said in previous posts there are three main protagonists in trailer park boys. I've already told you about Julian, he is by far the most muscular and is often referred to as Mr. Sexy. now id like to shed some light on his brother like character bubbles. Julian is the only person bubbles truly trusts because he was left in Julian's grandmas care as a child and Julian always watched out for him. Bubbles lives in a shed on Julian's trailer lot. he makes his money to feed his 30+ kitties by hauling shopping carts around and selling them to competing malls. Bubbles is well known in the park for his big heart and is considered one of the wisest people in the show. Much of Bubbles past is unknown to us. We aren't even sure Bubbles is his real name, that's just what his parents called him after discovering his fascination with soap and bubbles. Bubbles has a big heart and is very sensitive because of the fact he is often under lots of stress from being caught in the middle of the boys's schemes. In extreme situations bubbles's alternate personalities are shown. through The Green Bastard, a wrestler, and puppets on most occasions.

The Dirty Dancer
Julian is the closest thing the boy's have to a leader. Only seen without a drink in his hand during season nine when colonel Lesile Dancer is in control of the park forcing his "Dry" regime upon the park, he constantly comes up with new ways for the boys to earn a living. It seems every time we blink Julian has found a new way to make money, whether it be the big dirty, a series of low profile crimes, starting a multitude of semi legit businesses, or attempting to start up a true business such as Success Auto Body. No matter the scheme Julian has to rally all the boys together an get everyone to work together. Although at first glance Julian may seem like a greedy money grubbing criminal there is definitely more to be said about his character. Julian is also know for is big heart and he truly wants to look after those who live in and belong in the park. this is most obvious in season six when Randy is associate trailer park supervisor. Randy is working with the cops to evict innocent Sunnyvale residents from their homes. Julian then buys back all the now empty trailers, fixes them up and later sells them back to the rightful owners at a significant financial loss.

Jim Lahey The Man Behind The Liquor
Mr. Lahey, The ex police officer, Sunnyvale's long time trailer park supervisor, and resident drunk, is more than he seems at first glance. Although in most episodes a drunk Mr. Lahey (Lahey) would be considered the main antagonist, and when he is sober an even bigger threat to the boy's shot at success, he is not evil. When one looks past the booze and drunkenness of Lahey you can easily see that he means only to better Sunnyvale. Of course the majority of the time he is causing more harm than good. On select occasions he has been known to put aside his feuds to save or help the boys get out of danger. This can be seen in the episode “The Shit Blizzard” when Lahey is seen reviving Ricky after a serious heart attack (supposedly caused by the amazing amounts of ranch dressing and pepperoni that Ricky consumes) during the first half of season seven, where Lahey has signed a truce agreement with bubbles. Then again throughout Season Eight, in which a retired and extremely desperate Lahey helps the boys make enough honey oil to save the park.
